Kevin Christy is a los angeles based artist who approached On The Chalkboard about doing a website for him that would incorporate his artistic style. He wanted the site to have the same look and feel as his paintings, a task we welcomed! Kevin's paintings made for a great overall landing page for his site. Simplicty was key, both in design and function, as we wanted the site to be all about his work. It is built in basic xhtml and css, using javascript for it's functionality.

Brianna Rettig is a los angeles based singer/songwriter, who wanted a site to promote her music. She came to us with some great photos and her own ideas for a retro look and feel. We built the site around the images, using iframes to incorporate a flash mp3 player that would remain static while her visitors navigate through her site.

Jeff McDonough is a Film and Television Composer, who came to On the Chalkboard with an extensive music library, and a desire to grow his business. What we came up with is basically two seperate sites, that link to each other, using the same basic design concept. Jeffmcdonough.com hosts his personal, composer site, and a splash page with the option to go directly to his music4picture.com site. This site houses his entire music library. The site uses multiple flash players for both music and video to display his work.

Drum Fetish is a Los Angeles based, drum rental and teching company. Home to many vintage drum kits, and long time drum guru "Gersh", Drum Fetish has been the GO-TO for many of the industries top musicians and producers. With an extensive client list and drum list that continues to grow, we thought we would benefit from a Content Management System. After initial design, we incorporated the php engine that comes with Wordpress. Now Drum Fetish can add, delete, or change any and all of their content on their own.

MUAY THAI ACADEMY is a mixed martial arts studio in North Hollywood, CA, catering to men, women, and children of all ages. This design was brought to us from Barnfire.com. They handes us a photoshop file and their only request was a pixel-perfect site built using wordpress, including a photo gallery and video gallery....No Problem. The site contains a few individual slide shows, many custom templates, a flash photo gallery, a flash video gallery, an events calendar, and an ecommerce plugin.

BLINDSPOT CYCLES - "Motorcycle Resurrection Project", is the brain child of Fort Collins, Colorado, environmental enthusiast, Chris Ravana. Chris came to us with his logo, a color scheme, some photos of his electric motorcycles, and a need to get the word out. For Ravana and his partners, this website was a necessary part of their business plan. The goal was to give his Colorado business a global home.

Strategic Nutrition Communications is a Fort Collins, Colorado based nutrition marketing, branding, and communications firm. They cater to schools, districts, government, and private businesses, hoping to educate and promote healthy eating. Owner and Founder, Nicole Turner-Ravana came to On the Chalkboard to redesign her existing site that she had built from a template. As her business grew, so did her need for a more dynamic website. After re-doing her static site, we built a custom wordpress blog to match her site exactly.

The Lake House Sober Living Program is designed to provide structured support for individuals after detox, rehab and/or hospitalization. After housing their site on a directory site, catering to recovery, they were looking to individualize themselves from being just another listing. They came to us with a logo, some photos, a color scheme, and a need for a simple site that they would be able to manage themselves. We took their direction and gave them a basic website, using wordpress as a Content Management System, and our design as a custom theme.

Elder Law Council is the site for the Law Offices of E. Bonnie Marshall, specializing in all faccets of Elder Law. The site is a basic resume style site, giving all of Bonnie Marshall's credentials, her profile, her areas of practice, links and her contact. All that is needed sometimes is clean code, and good Search Engine Optimization. Sometimes, it's not about the site at all, but about how to easily be found.

Ashley Macomber is Los Angeles based artist who approached On The Chalkboard with an immediate need for an update to her already existing Wordpress site. She wanted her site to showcase her work, and nothing more. She wanted it clean, easy to navigate, and easy to update. We customized her a new wordpress theme based on artwork that she provided us.The site is a Wordpress site, using jquery for her image gallery.

Nicole Bernardes brought her fashion and style blog, O Fantástico Mundo de Nicole, to On The Chalkbaord, all the way from Brazil. Despite not speaking portuguese, we were able to help her migrate her current blog from Blogger to Wordpress and give it a complete overhaul. The theme for her blog was originally based on an existing wordpress theme that we had to completely customize to give her the exact look and feel that she wanted.
